Update: Superheroes 2 Event has hit iOS and Android!
A tease for the new Superheroes event has hit Facebook (see below). It seems that usually they would hit only a few days before the event is released. It could be that this one was prematurely released because of the accidental spoiler at the Kindle store. Or we’ll be looking forward to a second teaser.
So, it could release Tuesday June 14th, but that’s a day before Homer’s Chiliad ends and only 18 days after the last event. More commonly it would hit on its own week, Tuesday June 21st, which is also about 25 days since the last event ended. I’m not sure which way to place my bet but we’ll probably find out tomorrow.
Superheroes never die, they just wait til their reboot. Coming soon to an app store near you: the Superhero sequel you didn’t know you wanted but will still wait through the credits to see!

Yea…I guess it’d be a good idea to keep all main characters on short tasks for now. Nothing worse than to have major event kick off & have to wait hours to start or use donuts to speed up…& I like to start NOW!!!! Bring on the superheroes!

Good point. I should have noted what you said in the post. If it doesn’t hit tomorrow then I’ll put out a reminder next Monday on keeping the tasks short. 🙂

Tonight? Why would it hit tonight when we are still in a mini-event? I know most people are finished but it wouldn’t be fair for EA to throw in a massive event when a minority are still trying to get mini-event items! I WANT EA to release it tomorrow but it will probably hit on Thursday 🙂

I don’t know why it’s fair, then, for EA to throw mini events at us in the middle of major events, which they do. While I agree that I don’t think they’d release it today, I also don’t think it’s impossible for this to happen as it would be at the very end. People can finish the Chiliad while still playing the new event.
Most minor events seem to continue past the end date as long as you start it before. I’m not sure about final prizes but I believe so as I’m still working on completing questlines from Valentine’s Day and my second town is still on fire from Crook and Ladder. If I ever win the prizes then I’ll know for sure. lol
I also don’t think it will be Thursday. Major events have only ever hit on Tuesday or Wednesday, and only Tuesdays for a solid year. Minor events, like the one we’re in, always hit Thursdays. So, an ever slight possibility that it will hit tomorrow. Chiliad ends tonight (at midnight), so it would be possible for the next event to start in the morning. It has happened before.

Thanks for labeling that, but let’s try to wait for some of it to be released before giving opinions on items that no one has seen in-game. I mean, lets wait until we can all download the app at least. Thanks, Sam.

Yea..it is…I have a stupid Dr.appt at 4….I can update using data but wifi so much faster! I wonder if they gonna be putting out more events now that level ended….maybe to quell “end is near” rabblerousers?!

I had nuked my town about 4 mo ago & what a mistake that was! I’m still trying to put it back together. Designing a virtual town is actually very time consuming….even though it seems I’m on the game more than I care to admit,,it’s still slow to come together.

Indeed. I can barely get around to moving my Post Office to somewhere more appropriate. I won’t even figure out how I’d ever put down all the trees and roads again.

I don’t know if it’s true, but sometimes Android gets the takedown updates first. I remember once we were getting our bugs patched before iOS did. So, to answer you………..

Not really. Usually people complain and I look for the issue and don’t find it in my game. Lately, though, I’ve been getting most of the issues that are brought to light.

The only thing outs my Maggie game sounds are off….I believe it was you that was noticing the same…but that doesn’t really bother me much. 1 time I bought a lotto ticket & then game crashed..lost it. I complained but didn’t get anything resolved. Didn’t put $ in game for a long time after that. But other than that it’s been pretty stable.

Yeah, that was me. Sorry about your money. I don’t think I’d be playing still if my money was lost. I play with Google Opinion Rewards money, usually. That’s free. So, maybe I’d still play as long as the money was not very meaningful.

It was only $1…but yea I was upset…than the rep was not helpful AT ALL…I do the Google Opinion,,,took me a long time to start putting $$ back in. I see some games that seemingly have every premium item ever released…I can’t even imagine how much that would cost. I’m pretty sure some of them aren’t exactly legal. I always kinda wonder if those are the ones that have more problems than most.

In 1 of my neighbors towns,, that seems to have every single thing EVER…I could swear they had that big purple ride before it was released. When I 1st started playing, I came across 1 of those “have unlimited donuts & stuff” & I thought a game where everything is just given automatically would get boring real fast. Updated my tablet & got through to the 4 hr task…whew! Not super crazy about tap ball type fighting…love the tiptoeing criminals skulking about!😁

A few changes and glitches that came with the update so far (in my game):
– the part of the questline that prompts you to visit your neighbors doesn’t trigger unless you synchonize your game;
– the icons from the event doesn’t work properly;
– the shortcut from the Project Board to the Rail Yard doesn’t work anymore.

I learned a trick with the Rail Yard. I don’t use the Project Board anymore, I use the “?” icon and then click the tab on the left to get to the blueprints menu and all that. If you were using it as a free transport, then I’m sorry.
